Laying down the pine floor in the dining area was A breeze. I learned to make good use of warped boards by cutting near the knots and using the straighter edges. I found that the air nailer actually helped to force into place boards with a slight bend. Slowing down and adding more staples made this a nice tight installation. I got to be pretty good at driving staples with a hammer at the wall where it is not possible to use the air nailer.
I rented a commercial sander and used 120 grit paper. If they had a finer grit available it would have made things smoother sanding between final coats.
There are 5 coats of Fletco nano defense hardwood floor finish on this floor. I took special pleasure sliding around the finished floor in my socks.
